1.15.07 - NEW ALBUM!! After months of hard work, SSLYBY has announced the release of their second album, Pershing, for April 8th. Check out this article on Pitchfork for some dates and a download of the first track.

1.4.07 - Last June SSLYBY played a festival in Austria called "Seewiesenfest." You can check out a video recap of the festival featuring SSLYBY here. Also a couple live recordings have been added to the music page. Check it out.

11.15.2007 - SSLYBY recorded a Christmas song (with Sweetwater Abilene) for a charity compilation album called PEACE ON EARTH. The album cannot be bought in stores but you can pick up your copy online here.

9.13.2007 - Will and Phil just did a promo for the new Nintendo DS game Jam Sessions. You can check it out on the game myspace here.

8.14.2007 - SSLYBY has posted a cover of House Fire on their myspace. The cover was performed by Columbus band Our Cat Philip. You can listen to the song here.

8.14.2007 - McCrank's Juke music blog listed iamwarmandpowerful as one of the "Top 10 Band Related Sites" giving it a solid B+.

4.24.2007 - SSLYBY has been invited to play at the Afisha Picnic Festival in Moscow on July 28.

4.23.2007 - Boris Yeltsin has passed away. Hopefully he can rest well in the fact that someone still loves him. (Cheesy, I know...I just felt like I should say something)

4.4.2007 - Polyvinyl has just announced that it will release a new 7" titled "Not Worth Fighting." The release date is set as May 22, but you can preorder your copy here.

3.20.2007 - New album rumors! After talking to Phil, it seems the band has started work on a new full length album. Recording will take place during the current tour and on Weller Street over the summer. They'd like to have it out by this fall, so we'll keep you updated on that.
